The Difference Between What We See and What We Know...

In my opinion, politics has become more about image and about what is appealing to the people than anything else. I say this for a few reasons. How many of us can actually say that we have made our political decisions without any prejudice? Now, more than ever before, we have been presented with a variety of presidential candidates; Hilary Clinton, Barack Obama and VP rep Joe Biden, Jon Mccain and VP rep Sarah Palin. With such variety comes personal preferences. Politicians are very aware of this and bend and mold themselves, it seems, to fit these preferences.

Its really funny that you bring this topic up, because i one hundred percent agree. Actually most people that vote base their final decision off of personal preference. And as this is not the best way to vote it makes sense in some ways. But i totally agree with your idea!
